Name: Wicker     Best Guess for Breed: Wire haired terrier mix  

Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of February 2024       SEX: Male

 

Approximate Weight:  32 lbs as of February 2024; might have just a bit more to grow

 

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested

 

Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here.

Wicker is Looking For: His forever home! Wicker says he hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and he's eager to have his own humans to explore it with. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! He'd love to make pup and people pals along the way. Dog school is on his wish list as well, so he can show how super smart he is. Plus - he doesn't have opposable thumbs his type of coat can form nasty mats. He's putting in a request for daily brushing and regular professional grooming as well. 

Most of all, though, he wants to know where he belongs and that he's safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship. What do you say? Does he get to go through life by your side?
