Gets Along With: Wave does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen him with cats but he can be tested. Because he is shy, we do not recommend a home with children under the age of 12.

Wave and his brother Riptide came from a challenging hoarding situation and are ready for a fresh start! While they were well-fed, their exposure to the world beyond was limited. Now, stubby-legged cutie is on a journey to discover life's wonders, one brave step at a time.

Wave possesses a gentle spirit that shines through despite his past. He's a soul yearning to explore the world but in need of patience and understanding as he adjusts to unfamiliar sights and sounds.
Building Bravery:
City life may be overwhelming for Wave initially. The hustle and bustle of urban environments can be daunting for a dog who hasn't seen much beyond his previous surroundings. However, with the right adopter by his side, Wave can gradually build his bravery and confidence.

Wave is seeking an adopter who understands his needs and is willing to offer patience and support as he navigates his new world.
