ELLERY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name:   Ellery         Best Guess for Breed:   Shepherd mix

Best Guess for Age:   1.5 years old as of January 2024   SEX:    female

Approximate Weight:   49 lbs.

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! Lives with cats at the foster. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack! Although Ellery has not lived with children, she has done well with those kids she has met.  Given what we have observed so far, however, we think she would do well in a home with kids.

Currently Living at:  Foster

Ellery is looking for her loving forever home.  She is a delightful 1.5 -year-old Shepherd mix whose coat shines as brightly as her friendly playful personality. She comes with a heart full of love and an eagerness to be your loyal companion. With her youthful energy and a wagging tail that never seems to stop, Ellery is the embodiment of joy and exuberance. She will be a wonderful companion, longing to explore the neighborhood, visit the local parks, go on trips to the mountains, have fun splashing in creeks – trying it all with you.  Or just cuddling on the couch!!

What My Foster Says About Me:  Ellery is a really gentle, sweet, patient, and chill dog.  She is clearly used to being a beloved pet. She is potty trained has good manners, comes when called, and knows sit and no, maybe more that we have not discovered yet. She has obviously been trained to stay off furniture.  She does great on the leash and just loves to be on a walk. She is living with four cats who she mostly ignores. She really wants to find her special human(s) she can be with. She follows one of us around and will wait patiently and quietly while we do something else.  She loves to be around people.  Please see her in the sweater my daughter made for her.  Doesn't she look adorable?
