Name: Henry         Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd mix

Best Guess for Age:  8 months as of February 2024         SEX: Male

 

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs as of 2/1/24; he is still growing

 

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested

 

Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here!

 

Special adoption considerations: Henry is currently being treated for a skin condition. His coat will be glossy soon!

 

Henry is Looking For:   His forever home! This young boy came to us looking scraggly in a few spots. He has firmly closed that chapter, though, and is eagerly looking forward to his new one. The one where he gets his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures his family can dream up. He is barely out of puppyhood and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is looking forward to making new pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what he likes best, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on his wish list as well.

 

He's up for snuggling too - and promises lots of adoring gazes and love and loyalty for all his days. What do you say? Is this sweetie the one you can see by your side?

 

What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster.
